I've been busy recently with some great comedy gigs, and LOTS of podcast recordings and editing! It's been a super fun spell.
I had the wonderful Geoff Norcott (star of Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, Have I Got News For You, and Netflix's The Duchess) on The Dinner Party recently to tell me all about his dream dinner party! It was so much fun - in true Geoff fashion, he put together a group comprising of some quite challenging people, but it made for a fascinating conversation.
And this week, I had the pleasure of chatting to the wonderful Isa Bonachera about her dream dinner party! She was so warm and funny throughout, and her guests were such a great mix, incorporating many different aspects of her frankly astonishingly varied and multi-faceted creativity!
Away from fantasy dinner parties, I've had some great guests on the Jericho Comedy Podcast, too! Last week I spoke to improvisor extraordinaire, Vicky Hawley. We had a great chat incorporating online comedy, improv, stand-up, and even pottery!
And on Monday, I'll be releasing my conversation with Tara Newton-Wordsworth. Tara is an amazing comedian - she's so honest and frank, and crucially, hysterically funny! Our conversation covered some really interesting areas about choosing topics, authenticity and real-life factors that factor into what we feel we can and can't talk about on stage. A super interesting chat with a really great act. Out on Monday!
